How to Customize Facebook Page Notifications For Page Admins
- Go to your Facebook Page timeline
- Click Settings
- Click Notifications (located on the left sidebar)
- Select which notifications you’d like to receive by how often, what activity, and whether you’d like to see them by email or text
Managing Multiple Facebook Pages with Custom Notifications
If you’re a Facebook page admin for a business (or multiple businesses), you’re by now pretty used to seeing notifications from the page. Facebook combines page notifications and personal profile notifications. This can cause some confusion. How can you know you’re getting notifications for what’s most important on your page? And is there a way to customize what kind of activity notifications provide? If you’re like me, you don’t want a notification every time a page gets a single like or reaction on a post, but for things like comments and messages. I focus on activity that allows me the opportunity for customer care, or outreach.
My Favorite Facebook Page Notification Configuration
Most of the time, as a Social Media Management team, we want real-time notifications about checkins, mentions, comments and edits to our comments by other admins. Other things are important, but not as actionable from a customer care standpoint. We’ll track those activities on a monthly basis, and not in real-time.

Question. I was recently made an admin of a page. Happy to be but do not want their notifications. I know I can turn them off but does that affect other admins or only me? In other words do I have unique notifications or is it notifications for the page for all users either on or off?
Is there a way of removing an admin of a page and them NOT being notified by email that they were removed?
