How will you improve our search engine rankings?
A: We use a variety of methods based on the client’s specific goals and target audience. One of the most common examples of our SEO work is a two-fold process involving keyword research and content creation. First, we identify frequently searched queries. The criteria for these are that they must be relevant to both the client’s target audience and the client’s business goals. Then, we build a strategy to write custom website content that answers those questions with relevant information. This could come in the form of new content on landing pages, or blogs, etc. Other methods we use for improving rankings are more technical, such as identifying if a domain is being hindered from successfully ranking by misinterpretations by search bots, technical SEO problems, lack of sitemap, link issues, mobile index issues, etc.
What types of SEO work will you do that is included in the monthly fee?
A: We use nearly all digital content marketing methods for your website. That’s the thing about SEO. It’s not so much a practice on its own as it is a strategic emphasis to understand the role of search and your web presence. SEO may go away in the future. What won’t go away is potential customers asking questions to find what they need. Search is a universal and timeless practice. Your website will benefit from SEO in a variety of ways. Expio SEO clients get a detailed monthly report with screen share meeting recaps, keyword research, listings management, on-page edits, copywriting, and even web design and user experience in cases where needed.
Can you itemize the services you intend to provide as part of the strategy?
A: Our services are nearly always available a la carte. However, pricing and availability will differ on a case by case basis.
How many hours can we expect per month for each service?
A: Every month is different because every website’s needs are different. Also, SEO changes from month to month as a website becomes more and more optimized. So, it’s hard to say. Expio SEOs are trained to focus their time on the most important tasks to create the most profound results relative to the goals of the business.
How will you keep me informed of changes you make to our website?
A: It’s different on a case by case basis. We work closely with each client’s point of contact to work within their approval chain. However, we hope to build trust so that approval chains are as simple and unimpeded as possible.
How often will we be having meetings?
A: At minimum, you will get an email or phone call each week, and a monthly meeting to cover the month’s report. Most of the time, however, we collaborate more than this. We are communicators!
Can you share information on some of your past clients and their results?
A: Absolutely! We have case studies available here. And you can request additional information from our sales team.
How do you determine if you’re successful?
A: Our key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEO are typically based on the client’s custom goals, such as inbound forms, eCommerce sales, etc. But, as far as general SEO goes, we judge our success on organic visits, number of ranking keywords, domain authority, search visibility and target keyword rankings.
