New Expio Chief Relationship Officer Brings 17 Years Digital Marketing Experience

Rule-Breaking Pioneer in Social Media and SEO

Expio has been following the career of Jody Reynolds for some time. Years ago, the company where Reynolds was working met with Expio to discuss digital marketing tactics. At a time when Facebook pages weren’t standard and iPad giveaways were a novel concept, Reynolds was hard at work implementing new strategies to earn digital marketing growth – even breaking a few rules along the way.

Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and educated at Kansas State University in Print Journalism, Reynolds has made a habit of being an early adopter in digital marketing.

In her career, she’s been a photographer, storyteller, SEO, Social Media Manager, Email Marketer, Website Manager, Editor, Print Journalist and more. One of her favorite accomplishments is starting a Facebook page and personally helping it to grow over 1 million followers.

“I had to go rogue,” Reynolds said. “I had pitched the idea of starting a Facebook page to leadership, and they said ‘no’. So I created it anyway and kept it quiet while I grew the page organically. Once we hit 10,000 fans, I let leadership know what I’d been up to, and they quickly learned that Facebook fans mean potential customers.”

Having pursued digital marketing education as recently as 2017, earning a digital marketing certificate from Cornell University, Reynolds brings a relentless learning spirit to Expio.

Reynolds is an active member of the Amarillo community. She is President of AAF-Amarillo and is a board member for Martha’s Home and the Amarillo Convention and Visitor’s Council. She regularly volunteers with the March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House, High Plains Food Bank, church and other organizations, and in her spare time she loves to ride horses, sing, read, travel, camp, watch her identical twins play sports, go on dates with her husband and play with her giant schnauzer.

As a member of the Expio executive team, Reynolds is developing client relationships, new content campaigns and sales and marketing strategies.
